How the app finds devices on your network

mDNS / Bonjour names

Reads friendly names advertised by phones, printers, TVs, etc.

ARP / neighbor table

Maps IP addresses to MAC addresses from the local network table.

Packet capture (advanced)

Sniffs DHCP hostnames and UPnP announcements. Requires extra container permissions.
